Some components of the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) were taken offline Saturday, March 16 to complete maintenance and security upgrades. Users will not be able to register a new entity or update an entity record until Entity Management is available at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25. As a result, some eligible NOFA applicants submitting electronic submissions on or after March 16 may have had difficulty submitting their applications through Grants.gov.
HUD is working to develop procedures to respond consistently and equitably to applicants who believe they may have been affected by the outage of SAM.gov. While the procedures are being finalized, affected applicants should collect records of their interactions with Grants.gov and SAM.gov, including ticket numbers for any calls to a help desk, submission tracking numbers, DUNS number and the Authorized Organization Representative username and password (AORID) used in their submission attempt.
