Electronic Class (EClass) on Loss Mitigation and Servicing System

The EClass System provides additional training on FHA's Loss Mitigation Programs, including FHA's Home Affordable Modification Program (FHA-HAMP), as well as continuing education on issues that have generated the most industry questions and requests for further training. The EClass System is designed to provide a web-based training to HUD-Approved Servicers, HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agencies, Non-Profit Housing Counseling Agencies, and HUD Staff. This classroom training is for HUD-approved mortgagees, HUD-approved Housing Counselors, and Nonprofit Housing Counselors. For-profit Housing Counselors are not permitted to attend this training. This training is broad range and includes full coverage on: HUD Handbook 4330.1 REV-5, Chapter 7, Delinquencies, Defaults, Mortgage Collection Activities and HUD's Loss Mitigation Waterfall Program. Additionally, overviews will be presented pertaining to Extension of Time Requests and Variances and Single Family Default Monitoring System. Classroom Registration Information
NSC does not charge a registration fee. Due to the size of the training facility, space is limited to 45 participants; therefore, registration is based on a first come, first served basis, so register early by clicking the "Register for classroom training" located in the Related Information box above! Class sign-in begins at 8:00 a.m. with a meet and greet to follow at 8:30 a.m. The classroom training will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and continue to 4:00 p.m. each day. Dress is business casual.

HUD is located in a Federal Complex. Therefore, the following security procedures must be followed:

||Must go through a metal detector each time you enter the building|
||Must wear a visitors badge at all times when in the building|
||Must turn the badge in each day when exiting the building|
||Cameras are not permitted in the building|
The Federal Complex does not provide daily parking to visitors. Please allow extra time to find parking and to go through the building's security procedures.
NSC Webinar Schedule
Below is the current schedule for the FHA’s Loss Mitigation webinars offered by the National Servicing Center.
We will begin our Loss Mitigation Webinar series in December. We encourage all staff engaged in the Loss Mitigation process from collections to claims to attend. The webinar sessions will serve as a refresher course for your seasoned staff and provide an excellent foundation for new staff working with FHA’s Loss Mitigation programs. The webinar modules provide a detailed overview of HUD’s Loss Mitigation options and process workflows; including how Servicers must apply the waterfall priority, HUD’s definition of key timelines, industry best practices, and an opportunity to participate in customer case studies. Please note, Webinar V -SFDMS Reporting is being enhanced to include several modules. Registration dates will be announced shortly.
