Grant Processing and Inventory Reports
Grants Processing and Inventory Reports
The Grants Management Center (GMC) was established in May 1998, by the Office of Public and Indian Housing, as a single point of contact for grant processing and management to ensure an efficient continuum of services to its customers.
The GMC centralizes and streamlines the process for reviewing, processing and awarding PIH categorical (and previously formula) grants. Since 1998, the GMC has processes over 21,000 grant applications, providing over 53,000 grants, totaling over $35 billion used for Public and Indian Housing residents.
Current Program Inventory includes:
Housing Choice Voucher programs (formerly known as Section 8): Family Self-Sufficiency; Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) programs: Family Self-Sufficiency Program Coordinators, Elderly & Persons with Disabilities, Family & Homeownership and Neighborhood Networks.
