Get Outdoors Colorado
Dear HUD Partners and Stakeholders,
I’d like to thank you for your continued efforts to provide quality, affordable housing to the most vulnerable members of our population. It is an enormous mission but one that you all approach with passion and sincerity. As part of our partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services and its implementation of the National Prevention Strategy(See http://www.healthcare.gov/news/factsheets/2011/06/prevention06162011a.html), which features ongoing collaboration between 16 federal agencies within our Region, we’d like to invite you and the members of your community to participate in an exciting upcoming event.
Get Outdoors Colorado and others will celebrate the 6th annual National Get Outdoors Colorado 2013 on Saturday, June 8th at City Park, Denver from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This fun, free, family event will include interactive villages where families can fish, bike, climb, garden, paint, dance, eat, and play! Select adaptive activities will be available for participants of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Please get the word out to your community.
