About the Local Program Office

The Indianapolis Office of Public Housing (PH) is responsible for the administration of all PH programs in the State of Indiana. Under the leadership of PH Director, Forrest Jones, the Department's public housing programs support a broad range of local projects in the State through a variety of partnerships involving 66 Public Housing Authorities. The program center has ten housing specialists on staff that act as public trust officers and monitor all programs. These programs aid low and moderate-income persons by providing housing subsidies and services, rehabilitation of current PH properties, and the improvement of public housing facilities.
