DULUTH AND SUPERIOR FLOODING FORCES CANCELLATION OF HUD FORECLOSURE PROGRAM
Program To Be Rescheduled at Future Date
The U.S. Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) joint Milwaukee and Minneapolis Field Offices Free Foreclosure Prevention Program and Housing Industry Professionals Training scheduled for Friday June 22, 2012 has been cancelled due to flooding in the Duluth-Superior Region.
"The adverse weather has caused flooding and road closures and will make it impossible for homeowners, lenders, local nonprofit housing counselors, as well as industry professionals to attend the event," said Jim Chaplin, HUD's Milwaukee Field Office Director.
"We know how important this event is to homeowners who are looking for assistance, resources and good advice, so we will reschedule this event as soon as it is feasible," said HUD's Minneapolis Field Office Director, Dexter Sydney.
