About the Local Program Office:
The Ohio Office of Public Housing (PH) is responsible for the administration of all Public Housing programs in the State of Ohio. Tom Marshall, Director of the Office of Public Housing, heads a staff of Public Housing professionals who administer HUD's Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, and related programs. These programs are operated by Public Housing Authorities located in 75 of Ohio's 88 counties. The Ohio Public Housing Office is headquartered in the Cleveland HUD Office, with a Program Center in the Columbus HUD Office. The Coordinator of the Columbus Office is Dave Kellner. HUD's Public Housing programs aid low and moderate-income persons by providing project-based and tenant-based housing subsidies, services, modernization and rehabilitation of existing Public Housing properties, and reconstruction of obsolete projects.
