These state agencies offer funding that can be used to improve conditions in farmworker communities in Florida.
- Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) was established in 1980 as a state agency and later incorporated by the Florida Legislature in 1998 as a nonprofit entity. FHFC's mission is to help ensure that all Floridians have access to safe, affordable housing. To achieve its mission the corporation provides an array of incentives and assistance for use in the development of both single family and multi-family housing for low and moderate income Floridians. Florida Housing administers the state's HOME funds as one of it funding sources.
- Florida Department of Community Affairs administers a variety of programs including, but not limited to, the State's Community Development Block Grant Program, the Empowerment Zones/Enterprise Community Program, the State's technical assistance Affordable Housing Catalyst Program, and several housing rehabilitation programs. - The Florida Resource Directory is a database maintained by the Governor's Office of Trade, Tourism and Economic Development to help rural and distressed urban communities, and community organizations, find and access sources of assistance.
