State of Alaska little Davis Bacon and Federal Labor Standards Workshop for Contractors

Description: I am pleased to announce that Labor Relations Specialist Gerald Gularte from the Anchorage Field Office will be providing labor standards training regarding Davis-Bacon (DB) and HUD Determined prevailing wage rate compliance. Wage & Hour Investigator Warren Petrasek with the State of Alaska, Department of Labor & Workforce Development will address the State of Alaska's little DB regulations and Wage and Hour Investigator Julie Tredway with the USDOL, Wage and Hour Division will address the Federal DB Guidelines.

Topics included will be: Wage Decisions, Reporting Requirements, Work Classifications, Additional Classifications, Documentation Requirements, Investigations, Wage Restitution, and Much More ...Registration is free and open to the public.

Who Should Attend: Contractors and subcontractors interested in projects subject to prevailing wage requirements. A key topic will be the applicability of Davis-Bacon prevailing wages on HUD projects.
