HUD awarded Texas local, state, and tribal government entities, as well as non-profit organizations over $552 million in Recovery Act Funds to create jobs, restore economic growth, strengthen America's middle class through measures that modernize the nation's infrastructure, and enhance America's energy independence. The Texas State Office is honoring partners who have completed their American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funded projects ahead of their deadline. The honorees are:

City of Denison
The City of Denison used ARRA funding to weatherize thirty-three owner occupied low/moderate income households. Weatherization included R-50 insulation in the attics, added ventilation to the gable ends or soffits where required and installation of storm windows on the homes.
