HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan announced June 10, 2009, that Iowa will receive $516.7 million in funding from (HUD) for disaster recovery. This brings Iowa’s funding from HUD’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to nearly $800 million from the 2008 floods in Iowa.
